Review:

This book is the story of three protagonists aka monkeyes- Amar, Akbar and Antony. They are born losers and are CA students. They pass the CA exams after what seems like forever. They are like those three idiots who even after finally setting up their own company, they do not get work. They find themselves neck deep in trouble along with their routine struggle with life. That’s when love blossoms in each of their hearts. Meghna, Farah and Sarah become their lady loves respectively. Sarah works as a secretary for a shrewd and crooked banker Ashwin. In no time, the three monkeys are set up in a money laundering scheme of Ashwin. But then there is corruption and felony of all sorts.

Starting with the cover page! That’s a really interesting one. It speaks for the protagonist and the title justifies everything. The book is hilarious! And apart from the main story line and characters, everything else is mixed up, as if the complete story is in a stew. While the author attempted to bring in a complex side to the story, it somehow made the story so long and many incidents pointless. That’s because there were too many characters of which many were introduced late into the story. After a while, I was as if in a cloud of confusion not knowing who was what. After what seem like a world without an end, everything comes down to a happy  ending. But again, 5 epilogues? Too much of anything is good for nothing.

All in all, its a good book where the author has explained different struggles we face in our society. As a non-commerce student, it was good to know the crux of accountancy. Humour is the biggest highlight of the book for many of the dialogues are simply out of this world!

Do I Recommend? A good humorous, one-time read!
