Of Smoothies and Pineapples

You know by now that I’m enjoying my vacation in Kerala. It’s raining Pineapples here 🙂

As a kid, I loved having Pineapple Smoothie. We had a pineapple farm and Dad used to always make this special smoothie for us, kids. And that’s the only smoothie I ever loved. Not even the mangoes! Oh yup. The story isn’t much different now. I am picky in what I eat or drink.

Dad’s special Pineapple Smoothie definitely makes me feel like heaven on earth and is yummy and refreshing at the same time. 🙂 And I thought I should be sharing this simple recipe with you.

#pineapplesmoothie fllowme@taleoftwotomatoesIngredients:

2 ripe pineapples cut into pieces, 1 cup milk, 2 cups chilled water or ice cubes, 3 tbsp sugar and 2 cardamons crushed

Method:

Mix everything in a blender. Strain and serve. 🙂

P.S: You can also add crushed ice on top before serving.

  9. On Fridays they have breakfast smoothies in a cafeteria near where I work. I usually get Mango but they also have pineapple available. I’m going to try pineapple next time – no cardamon in house, but I trust it will still be delicious.
