Spilling the Beans #AtoZChallenge ThemeReveal 2016 @AprilAtoZ

Just like the last two years, I was skeptical this time too. One, whether I should be participating in this Challenge and two, if yes, what my theme should be. When the AtoZChallenge does not asks you to have a theme, I believe it is always good to have one. It helps you organize your thoughts and not just writing about anything and everything under the sun which does not relate.

I always turn to P- my husband when in dilemma. So, on my first year of the Challenge, he came up with some cute ideas like writing about animals to some bizarre ones as how to have a 26 inch waist. Well, you now get the idea how his thought process works. So I took the matter in my hands, the second year and wrote about 26 Hours Before My Wedding incorporating Shakespearean Idioms which we use in our day-to-day lives. Oh my my…! The love I got throughout the entire month was incomparable.

Without much ado, here’s my theme for A to Z 2016.

Life as an Army Wife

Sounds good? especially after the previous theme, I thought why not let you know what I

go through everyday 🙂 I will not be going into any details about how Indian Army works. This is just going to be a personal account. These will be an Ala-carte of short stories, poems or a 1000 word write-up.

I am also a minion this time, i.e. I’m helping one of the co-hosts of the #AtoZChallenge- Pam Brown Margolis who blogs @ An Unconventional Librarian.

Our theme is called “The Unconventional Alliance”

new Alliance badg

While I am the DJ of the team, playing music keeping your toes tapping, Rajlakshmi who blogs at The Twinkle Eyed Traveler, The Poetry Wagon, and Destiny’s Child will be the lead singer. Claire blogs at A Field Trip Life will be our dance teacher and Parul who blogs at Happiness and Food will be the life of the party. We will be visiting your blogs throughout the month of April. Keep those posts churning. Pen 2Looking forward to having a rocking time!

It would be great if you send in your feedback on my posts in the form of comments, likes, follow ups and subscription via mail/FB/Google+/Twitter/Instagram . I don’t have any intention to spam you.

Meanwhile, you can also hop in to my food blog to find out what’s cooking in my kitchen for the A to Z challenge.

  8. Sounds like a cute theme and neat your hubby had a part of figuring out what you should blog about for A/Z. My hubby is good with coming up with letter for my theme and he takes really good pictures, so that is always a plus.

    Have fun with the challenge!

  9. I used to follow a US Army wife on AOL’s Journals years ago. Will be interesting to see how you experience compares to hers. Different army, different continent, different culture; yet I imagine many of the struggles are the same. I was one of Tremps Troops last year: Ensign B. I enjoyed it very much! Hope your minionhood is awesome!
